The connection with food runs deep in the Donaldson family; both of Myles' parents are chefs, so it was no surprise when he also chose to pursue his culinary passions after graduating. Myles launched his professional cookery career in 2008 and has since honed his craft at some of London’s most iconic and respected venues, including The Anchor & Hope, Frank's Café & Campari Bar, and St. JOHN Bread & Wine in Spitalfields, with an impressive stint as head chef at Noble Rot’s flagship restaurant on Lamb’s Conduit Street. In 2022, Myles’ distinguished career brought him to the unique and beautiful Garden Museum Café, where his creative and seasonal approach to modern British food is a joy to witness. Inspired by fresh produce and skilled in classic techniques, Myles combines these elements to create uncomplicated and delicious dishes. At the Garden Museum Café, he delivers a daily changing menu of modern European dishes, showcasing well-sourced ingredients and offering a masterclass in quality, simplicity, and seasonality.
